Via their Twitter account, Missouri’s greatest indie pop/rock band Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin have spread word about a post made on The Catbirdseat that includes a link to a brand new SSLYBY tune. The cleverly titled “Cardinal Rules” was written about the band’s hometown minor-league baseball team, the Springfield Cardinals. While trying to meet or exceed the quality of Pershing will be a difficult task for the band to pull off, as their hit and miss split 7″ with Liverpool band Puzzle has demonstrated, SSLYBY is definitely pushing in the right direction with “Cardinal Rules”.
